**The Opportunity**:
We have an exciting opportunity for Apprentice Body Builder to join the team at Wales Bus Repairs.
You'll be part of a team responsible for repairing and maintaining buses and coaches. You'll learn how to use various tools and techniques to construct and repair vehicle bodies, frames, and other components to bring heavy vehicles back to their original condition.
You'll work alongside experienced professionals who will mentor and guide you through the learning process. The role involves physical work, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to start a career in heavy vehicle body building and repair.
**Role responsibilities**:
- Perform inspections and complete damage reports as per company procedures
- Carry out mechanic diagnosis, repair and replacements as required
- Perform repairs and refurbishing of recycled parts to required quality standards
- Ensure no vehicle or component is ever refitted or supplied if not safe to do so
- Upon request carry out minor/small repairs as per Job Sheet
- Ensure authorised before proceeding with additional work.
- Double check new parts are correct and not damaged.
