Elliott Gray are excited to be partnering up with a Cyber, technology and management consultant company in the heart of the city

Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing consulting firm located in Canberra, seeking an experienced Business Manager to join the team. As the Business Manager, you will be responsible for the internal financial and commercial operations of the business, overseeing and managing AP & AR, payroll, financial forecasting, and reconciliation. You will also be responsible for financial modelling and supporting bid preparation, particularly in a consulting environment. This role is also fairly flexible, meaning when life gets in the way or you just need to focus in on your work without the distractions of the office, work from home options from time to time is certainly available

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial reporting process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and relevant legislation, and monitoring financial performance to provide recommendations for improvement. You will also provide guidance and support to the consulting team on financial matters.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have proven experience as a Business Manager or similar role, with a focus on financial and commercial operations. Strong financial modelling skills and experience in bid preparation, particularly in a consulting environment, are highly desirable.
