We seek a professional who will work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment and engage well in support of our Trinity College students and staff, parents or guardians and the community. This position is responsible for the oversight of expenditure and revenue collections to support the financial operations of the College successfully. To succeed in this role, you will deliver innovative solutions with your personal values aligned to service all stakeholders professionally, focusing on efficiency to support a positive team culture.
**Key accountabilities include**:
- Accounts Payable - facilitate invoice payments within terms and ensure compliance with policies
- Accounts Receivable - monitor and reconcile accounts, ensuring timely payment collection
- Records and data management - maintain information and records of financial transactions updating systems to ensure accuracy and currency of data
- Gather and analyse data from various sources and reconcile them to finalise invoices that meet funding and other program-specific requirements
- Undertake bank reconciliations daily to ensure receipting and payment allocation are aligned
- Support other administrative tasks for the Director of Corporate Services as required
**What you will need to succeed**:
- Significant experience in accounts payables and receivables or an equivalent role
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication capabilities to integrate with our team and school community
- Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- A working knowledge and understanding of a dedicated accounting system
- A commitment to delivering customer service to the highest standards
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Exceptional attention to detail with a conscientious approach to managing multiple tasks and the ability to prioritise
- A strong sense of judgement and discretion with a commitment to confidentiality and integrity principles at all times
- Satisfactory Working with Children check
- Experience in the education sector or debt management is preferable
- Diploma in Finance/Accounting is an advantage
