ToyMate is seeking to employ a professional Retail Manager to join our Team and play a pivotal role in overseeing the operations of the ToyMate retail stores in New South Wales as well as loss prevention and analytics for stores Nationally.

**The key tasks and responsibilities of the role include**:
**Product and Inventory Management**
- Determine the optimal product mix, stock levels, and service standards to meet customer demand and seasonal trends.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee stock replenishment in alignment with sales forecasts.

**Purchasing and Pricing Strategy**
- Advising on purchasing policies to ensure the availability of high-quality, engaging products.
- Set and regularly review pricing strategies to remain competitive while achieving profit targets.

**Marketing and Promotion**
- Develop and execute localised marketing campaigns and in-store promotions to boost visibility and increase customer base.
- Support in collating data for all reports pertaining to sales, customer service, accounts and logistics.
- Liaise with marketing teams to align store promotions with broader brand initiatives, including digital and community outreach.
- Adapt and implement visual merchandising strategies to enhance the shopping experience for customers.

**Customer Service and Sales**
- Lead retail team in delivering outstanding customer service, including personalised product recommendations and advice on product use.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and implement improvements based on feedback and sales performance analytics.

**Financial Management**
- Maintain accurate records of sales, goods receiving, returns, and other financial transactions.
- Assisting in the preparation of the store’s annual budget, including forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting.

**Staff Management and Development**
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and professional development of retail staff.
- Supervise daily staff operations, including performance management, shift scheduling, and team motivation.
- Delegate tasks to retail staff according to the needs of the business

**Health and Safety Compliance**
- Ensure the store complies with all relevant occupational health and safety regulations.
- Implement and review workplace safety policies and conduct regular audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant industry regulations

**Skills and Experience required**
- Relevant Qualifications in Business Management
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Retail management related positions
- Proven experience in retail management, preferably in toys, children’s products, or consumer goods.
- Strong commercial background with a demonstrated ability to drive sales and manage budgets.
- Excellent leadership and team development skills.
- Knowledge of inventory and merchandising systems.
- Understanding of occupational health and safety standards as well as store loss prevention procedures.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
