As an Originator, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and originating renewable energy project opportunities. You will actively engage with developers, utilities, governments, and other stakeholders to build a pipeline of projects aligned with the fund's investment criteria. This role requires exceptional market knowledge, strong relationship-building skills, and a passion for driving the renewable energy transition.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify and evaluate renewable energy project opportunities globally, including solar, wind, hydro, and other emerging technologies.
- Actively build and maintain relationships with project developers, utilities, government agencies, and other key stakeholders in the renewable energy sector.
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential projects, including technical, financial, and commercial analysis.
- Collaborate with internal teams to assess project feasibility, risks, and investment potential, ensuring alignment with the fund's investment strategy.
- Structure and negotiate project agreements, including power purchase agreements (PPAs), development agreements, and other relevant contracts.
- Develop and present investment proposals to the fund's investment committee, providing detailed analysis and recommendations.
- Stay informed about market trends, policy changes, and emerging technologies in the renewable energy sector, identifying new investment opportunities and potential risks.
- Monitor the progress of originated projects, working closely with project teams to ensure successful project execution and financial performance.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and maintaining regular communication throughout the project lifecycle.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in originating and developing renewable energy projects, preferably on a global scale.
- Strong knowledge of the renewable energy market, project development processes, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent understanding of project finance and investment analysis, including financial modeling and valuation.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including developers, utilities, government agencies, and financial institutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and make informed investment decisions.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
