**YOUR ROLE**
Our Portfolio Execution and Delivery Practice team is looking for a Principal, Delivery Practices who will mature and drive the delivery of value across T&O and Group Programs portfolio. Actively owning the strategy, coaching and supporting our people on the journey, and embedding of fit for purpose modern delivery frameworks and tools. Partnering with a range of teams will be critical to ensuring you are successful in shaping best practices and embedding a high-performance delivery culture.
As part of this role, you will use industry best practices to mature IAG-specific delivery models, frameworks, and approaches. These will help programs within T&O and the Group Programs portfolio be effective and achieve business outcomes more consistently and efficiently. Additionally, you will be providing coaching for leaders and senior stakeholders & guiding them in contemporary delivery practices, including agile methodologies, roles, OKR management and team ways of working.
Some of the key responsibilities that you will perform are:
- Contribute to and tailor T&O/Group frameworks for greater delivery of value, ensuring fit for purpose adoption in our portfolio context.
- Plan and execute interventions to lift portfolio maturity in contemporary delivery practices - at individual, initiative, and portfolio level.
- Design plan and execute the implementation of strategic portfolio tooling and effectively drive value out of this investment in steady-state, including ensuring portfolio WoW are redefined as needed to run portfolio processes out of key tools.
- Drive collaboration and alignment across the IAG Group to ensure consistent approach, ways of working and shared learning communities.
- Provide thought leadership, inspiration, coaching, and challenge to all levels fostering the necessary focus on developing the mindset, methods, and tools essential for business agility and delivery excellence.
**ABOUT YOU**
We are looking for the right person, with a good attitude who will be a solid team fit with the following skills and experiences:
- Experience in setting and leading a delivery strategy, which includes developing ways of working in complex environments, using pragmatic and fit for purpose approaches.
- Proven experience, presence and interpersonal skills that enable you to inspire, motivate and influence at all levels (particularly senior / executive level).
- Coaching, mentoring and communication skills which enable you to uplift the capability of others and influence on a desired outcome.
- Ability to collaborate, contribute, and create in a constantly changing environment.
- Demonstrated experience in coaching agile and lean ways of working, in organisations of varying size and complexity.
- Significant experience of leading delivery framework development, deployment, and embedment within complex corporate environments.
- Jira - extensive experience of enabling organisations to use Jira at scale to support their uplift in delivery practices.
- Coaching (IECL, ORSC or ICF) training or certification (not mandatory, but highly valued)
- Broad understanding of business and technology architecture environment, within and outside of IAG
**This is a 16 months Fixed Term opportunity that is open to people based in anywhere in Australia and New Zealand**
