PPG have an exciting opportunity for a Plant Manager to help provide strategic and operational direction to all the operations activities at the Ingleburn and Dandenong sites. You will be responsible for ensuring the production requirements of the site are met, with respect to EH&S, product quality, and customer service and that these are achieved at or below budgeted cost.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Run a safe and compliant plant that complies with local legislation and PPG EHSMS Requirements.
- Ensure Plant production is conducted within Company and legislative EH&S regulations and maintains QS9000 and other accreditations within the PPG guidelines
- Drive and monitor production to achieve production targets
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational performance
- Ensure plant is managed in a cost effective and efficient manner while working to a budget
- Continually improve productivity and operational efficiency by minimizing waste, overtime and aids to manufacture to reduce unit costs on site
- Establish and maintain a close working relationship with the Engineering, EH&S, Sales, Supply Chain and Technical departments

**Qualifications**
- At least 10 years in industrial/production based role in senior and managerial positions
- Demonstrated change management experience both in manufacturing projects and cultural change
- Superb interpersonal skills that will allow him/her to overcome technical or relationship barriers and resistance to change
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage a range of tasks and responsibilities.
