We are looking for an experienced Full Time Team Leader to lead and manage a team providing support to clients with complex needs living in group homes and SIL accommodations in Dandenong and Clyde Victoria
- As Team Leader you will be responsible for ensuring that the people you are supporting have meaningful engagement with the community in all its forms and ensuring their complex needs are being met._
- You will work hands on with the clients 5 days in a week dedicated to supporting and coaching the team, liaising & working together with all relevant stake holders in relation to client's wellbeing, and service delivery matters and participating in monitoring and evaluation of service performance and client outcomes._

The Day to Day
- **Mentor and support a team of mental health and disability support workers**:

- **Conducting House meetings every month**:

- **Ensure supports deliver a high-quality, person-centred experience**:

- **Champion strategic direction and promote and support change initiatives as they occur**:

- **Provide effective team leadership including supervision, support and mentoring to team members**
- **Ensure employee rosters, resources, other expenditure aligns to budgets**:

- **Ensure customer support is person centred and align to customer aspirations. Proactively seek innovative ways to support customer journey.**:

- **Inducting new staff**:

- **Roster may include mornings, evenings, weekdays and weekends, with an opportunity to build your roster to suit your needs**:

- **Oversee the day-to-day operation of supported independent living houses within your portfolio, through the management of effective rostering of Support Workers who attend to the daily needs of the residents and the house.**:

- **Contribute to the development and implementation of developmental programs, aligned with each participants goals and aspirations**:

- **Ensure each resident is well supported in relation to their daily living activities including personal care, preparation and service of meals, cleaning, laundry, emotional needs and purposeful engagement with a focus on individual customer enablement and independence to enable them to live as normal a life as possible.**:

- **Mentor and support your teams to provide a high level of quality care and services through ongoing mentoring, training, regular performance review and where necessary to undertake counselling and disciplinary action.**:

- **Collaborate with key **internal and external stakeholder, attend meetings, including care team and family meetings.**:

- **Managing COVID safe practices and infection control requirements and implementation of policies.**

**As an experienced Team Leader, you will have**:
**Proven experience in leading teams with commitment to ongoing development to build team capability**
- **Relevant Tertiary qualifications and/or knowledge and experience**:

- **Minimum 3 Year Team leading / House Manager or Team leader experience**:

- **Comprehensive understanding of NDIS**:

- **Ability to actively navigate and adapt to change**:

- **Excellent problem-solving skills**:

- **Strong administration skills**:

- **Valid Victorian Driver Licence**:

- **Current First Aid (Valid for three years)**:

- **Current CPR (Valid for one year)**:

- **Current National Police Check (Valid for one year)**:

- **International Police Check (if you have lived overseas in the last 10 years in any one country for longer than 12 months)**:

- **Identification check**:

- **Current Working with Children's Check**:

- **NDIS worker screening clearance**:

- **Minimum two referee checks**:

- **Understanding of restrictive practices and reportable incidents**:

- **Fully Vaccinated**
