We are currently looking for dedicated and compassionate team members to join us in supporting our participant in Clyde North, VIC.

Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and compassionate person to assist with personal care and domestic cleaning tasks during short evening shifts on weekdays. Please note: This role is only suitable for someone seeking short evening shifts on weekdays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to participants, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Promote independence and self-sufficiency by encouraging and teaching life skills.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive environment where participants can thrive.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential participant records.
  • Communicate effectively with participants, their families, and the care team.
  • Respond to participant's unique needs and challenges with empathy and patience.

Qualifications:

  • Cert III/IV in Disability or equivalent.
  • NDIS Screening Check
  • NDIS Induction Module
  • NDIS Orientation Module
  • Previous experience in a support worker role or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on others' lives.
  • Ability to adapt to various participant needs and preferences.
  • First Aid and CPR
