Part-Time | Female Worker | Wednesdays–Fridays 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team in the Clyde, Victoria area. This role is ideal for someone who is experienced, reliable, and confident in working with participants who have complex and high needs.

About the Role

  • Location: Clyde, VIC
  • Schedule: Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays (8:30 AM – 5:30 PM)
  • Availability: Must be available for a shadow shift before official commencement

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered support to NDIS participants with complex needs
  • Assist participants with daily living activities and promote independence
  • Implement individualized support plans with patience and professionalism
  • Manage challenging behaviors calmly and effectively
  • Ensure participants feel respected, safe, and empowered

Requirements

  • Previous experience supporting participants with complex needs (mandatory)
  • Mental Health background strongly preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with participants and families
  • Resilient, patient, and thick-skinned – able to work with high-needs participants
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
  • Must be female (participant preference)
