**About the role**:
We’re looking for a **_Media Insights Analyst_** to join our **_Insights _**team based in **_Sydney or Melbourne_**_._

If you are a data-driven strategist with a passion for media planning and analytics; and want to be part of an insights team uncovering emerging trends in audio, we would love to hear from you. Your strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data sets into actionable insights will contribute to revenue growth and audience strategies.

Reporting to the Commercial Insights Director, the Media Insights Analyst will be responsible for analysing and interpreting a wide range of 1st party and industry data to provide valuable insights into audience behaviour and market trends that drive positive business outcomes.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Content and Marketing; you will be responsible in uncovering insights that drive business objective by:

- Uncovering & disseminating industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in media analytics to continually enhance the understanding of audio advertising.
- Conducting in-depth analysis & reporting of audience metrics, consumption patterns, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth; communicating your findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Develop & maintain reporting frameworks and dashboards that track key performance indicators and providing regular updates to key stakeholders.

**Experience we’re looking for**:

- A degree in Business, Marketing or Communications.
- 2-4 years of experience in the media industry; developing communications/media plans and strategic insights.
- Proven experience in media planning, media analytics and/or media research, preferably within the audio or media industry.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills to derive, report and communicate actionable insights from complex data sets.
- Familiarity with media agency planning processes, tools and analytics.
- Familiarity in supporting sales activities (eg. brief responses and client engagement).
