**About the Team**:
Uber has recently launched Uber Direct, an on-demand delivery service for business customers. The last-mile delivery market is estimated to be worth upwards of $7.5b AUD in Australia, with rapidly increasing consumer preference for on-demand services. Uber Direct has the potential to support on-demand delivery across a range of customer verticals - restaurants, supermarkets, non-food retailers, and many more use cases yet to be discovered. We are creating something brand new Many of the problems we face are new for Uber and require creative solutions that cater to different customers, we're able to solve them because we deeply care **#BuildwithHeart.**
**About the Role**:
As the Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in enabling scalable growth across small and medium-sized businesses. You will own the internal processes and enablement frameworks that empower the Restaurant and Retail commercial teams to effectively communicate the Uber Direct value proposition and scale adoption.
This is a consultative, cross-functional role that requires strong product understanding, solution-selling skills, and the ability to operationalise strategies that simplify and amplify merchant onboarding. You'll collaborate closely with ANZ Operations, Product, and Partnerships teams to unlock new opportunities and drive adoption within the SMB segment.
**Your impact in role**:
- Partner with Restaurant and Retail Account Executives to drive SMB growth by operationalizing internal processes and frameworks, leveraging your Uber Direct expertise to deliver scalable, consultative solutions that enable success at scale.
- Identify and unlock the SMB opportunity in collaboration with Product, Operations, and Commercial teams, co-developing scalable enablement strategies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, operations, product, and account management teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term merchant success.
**The experience you'll bring**:
- 4+ years' experience in sales, account management, business development, or a go-to-market role.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience working across internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Proven ability to assess business opportunities and tailor value propositions to different customer types
- High level of resourcefulness and a proactive, go-getter mindset
