**About the Team**

Uber has recently launched Uber Direct, an on-demand delivery service for business customers. The last-mile delivery market is estimated to be worth upwards of $7.5b AUD in Australia, with rapidly increasing consumer preference for on-demand services. Uber Direct has the potential to support on-demand delivery across a range of customer verticals - restaurants, supermarkets, non-food retailers, and many more use cases yet to be discovered. ***About the role**:
As the Specialist Account Executive for Uber Direct in Retail (ANZ), you will be instrumental in scaling our presence in the Australian and New Zealand retail space. You'll collaborate closely with the broader Retail commercial team to refine and articulate Uber Direct's unique value proposition, tailoring it to merchant needs.

This is a consultative, strategic sales role focused on deeply understanding merchant challenges, building trust, and guiding them through solution-oriented conversations. You'll manage a full-cycle sales pipeline, from discovery through to the first delivery, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for our retail partners.

**What You'll Do**:

- Manage a pipeline of Uber Direct retail opportunities - owning the full sales cycle from discovery to launch with enterprise and mid-market retail merchants.
- Collaborate with Account Executives from the Eats Grocery & Retail Marketplace team to co-own enterprise opportunities, leveraging your Uber Direct expertise to deliver strategic, consultative solutions tailored to each merchant's unique needs
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including legal, operations, product, and account management teams to ensure successful deal closure and long-term success.

**What You'll Need**:

- 5+ years' experience in sales, account management, or business development.
- Proven success managing end-to-end sales cycles, including pipeline development and deal closure.
- Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to identify client needs and build tailored solutions.
- Experience managing senior-level Enterprise relationships.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Demonstrated success with technical product sales, particularly in logistics, e-commerce, or delivery.
