**About the Role**:
The Decision Support Unit (DSU) is led by an Executive Group Manager reporting to the Chief Operating Officer within Canberra Health Services (CHS).

The DSU’s role includes:

- Promoting accountability to achieve strategic goals and building organisational capability to align Activity Based Funding (ABF) and Operational Planning
- Provision of ICT Services for CHS
- Provision of data quality
- Provision of Health Information Services
- Provision of decision support services to enable operational and non-operational planning and quality reporting.

Reporting directly to the Director, Costing and Performance within the Decision Support Unit (DSU), the Assistant Director Costing and Performance is responsible for assisting with the delivery of information to our staff and stakeholders, primarily relating to the cost and value of providing health services to the population of the ACT and surrounding region.

The Unit will leverage build reports to enhance operational reporting from multiple data sources. There will be collaboration with members of the DSU Team and the operational areas at CHS as CHS transitions to an activity-based management environment.
