Tilt Renewables is seeking a **Grid Connection Manager** to play a critical role in guiding the** technical** aspects of grid connection projects for wind farms, solar farms, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). With a strong emphasis on Generator Performance Standards (GPS), this role requires proficiency in simulation tools such as PSSE, PSCAD, and PowerFactory. You will lead the development and preparation of GPS packages in-house, driving innovation in hybrid generator technologies and enhancing Tilt Renewables' capabilities.

As a Grid Connection Manager, you will mentor junior engineers, solve technical challenges, and ensure projects progress smoothly from feasibility through to operational compliance. You will be responsible for ensuring projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and regulatory standards, actively engaging with internal and external stakeholders to lead the technical delivery of projects. Your leadership will be crucial for maintaining Tilt Renewables' status as a leader in renewable energy integration, focusing on continuous improvement and technological advancement in grid connection processes.

**Key Responsibilities will include**:

- Lead and manage a team in the preparation and execution of GPS packages for various renewable energy generators.
- Conduct and oversee detailed GPS studies, ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
- Drive the development and implementation of new technologies for hybrid generators within the GPS framework.
- Prepare technical reports and supporting notes for GPS packages.
- Expertly handle PSSE, PSCAD, and PowerFactory for efficient and accurate grid connection projects.
- Actively participate in and oversee all stages of grid connection, including hold point tests.
- Mentor and support team members in technical aspects of GPS preparation and grid connection processes.
- Lead the development of simulation tools to enhance the team's capability in analysing and optimising grid connection processes.
