**The Role**: Grounds and Maintenance Officer
Based at Cardinal Freeman Village in Strathfield, you’ll be a hands-on contributor to the maintenance and upkeep of our beautiful community. From ensuring lush, well-kept grounds to providing essential services for residents, your efforts will directly enhance their daily lives.
**Your Key Responsibilities**:

- Gardening & Groundskeeping: Maintain pristine gardens, mow lawns, and care for our outdoor spaces.
- Maintenance Excellence: Conduct general maintenance to uphold the highest facility standards.
- Resident Support: Safely operate our village van for local outings and shopping trips, supporting our residents in staying connected and engaged.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Experience: Previous experience in groundskeeping or maintenance, ideally within retirement living, aged care, or similar settings.
- Initiative & Independence: A self-starter who takes ownership of tasks and seeks solutions.
- Strong Communication Skills: Build rapport with residents and colleagues through clear, friendly communication.
- Physical Fitness: Capable of performing hands-on tasks in a physically active role.
- Driver’s License: A valid license is required to transport residents.
