We are looking for an early-in-career Payroll Officer to join our team on a full-time permanent basis at North Strathfield supporting a variety of projects. This is a wonderful opportunity to join an iconic Australian brand undergoing a period of extensive brand growth and strategic evolution.

You will be joining a collaborative and supportive, geographically dispersed team accountable for the full function payroll, HR technologies, policies, and processes. We balance our presence on site with flexible hybrid working from home.

**Job description**

Reporting to the ANZ Payroll Operations Manager, this newly created role will work across the Australia and New Zealand payroll team, working on projects that cover all aspects of payroll including:

- Upgrading and implementing new technology
- Ensuring our data is of the highest quality
- Collaborating with colleagues to review and update our processes
- Ensuring high quality customer service using our new case management system

**The ingredients to be successful**:

- Minimum 3 years end to end Australian Payroll experience
- Learning agility
- Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships
- Experience in payroll of a waged workforce
- Experience in complex payroll reconciliations
- Preceda and Kronos experience is desirable but not essential
