**The Opportunity**:
We are looking for an **Actuarial and Claims Analyst **to join our team at ReturnToWorkSA.

This role is responsible for undertaking analytical, actuarial and statistical analysis, reporting and modelling of data (financial and non-financial) to assist and inform the understanding of scheme performance (employers, claims agents, providers and self-insured, premium, expenses and claim liabilities).

**The Role**:

- Analysis of scheme and agent performance including remuneration models
- Monitor premium income, claim expenditure and liabilities
- Review premium system options, industry insurance rates, claim and expense ratios
- Analysis and modelling of premium and underwriting initiatives
- Analyse health sector data to inform on the setting of hospital and provider service fee schedules
- Assist and liaise with our external actuary and provide required data sets
- Support insurance and regulation business groups by providing analytical supportand development and preparation of relevant reports
- Contribute and adhere to data governance definitions and standards
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Experience in applied analysis and modelling, preferable with workers’ compensation or general insurance
- Ability to extract data and produce reports using database reporting tools and business intelligence reporting systems
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Good verbal and written communication skills

**What we offer**:
The total remuneration package for this position is starting from $99,003 (inclusive of superannuation).
