If you are passionate about sustainability and climate change mitigation, then this position is for you. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by assisting in the ongoing development and implementation of sustainability initiatives at the City of Cockburn.

With a focus on climate change mitigation, this position provides expert advice on sustainability and emissions reductions while developing, implementing and reviewing the City’s Climate Change Strategy.

Your data collection, analytical and reporting skills will help ensure that the City remains compliant with relevant reporting frameworks so that the City remains a leader in Sustainability. As our successful applicant, you will be pro-active and innovative, possess excellent interpersonal skills and you’ll thrive when promoting sustainability within the workplace and community.

Applicants will require a relevant Environmental or Sustainability qualification or demonstrated experience with a strong understanding of climate change science and policy.

This is a full-time contract opportunity finishing in June 2025.

**Salary**: $97,455 - $104, 959 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
