The City is dedicated to its environmental responsibilities and takes pride in being a leader in sustainable management of our local natural areas and resources. Our Henderson Waste Recovery Park plays a key role in fulfilling this commitment.

This role involves overseeing the City’s waste collection service along with the Henderson Waste Recovery Park operations, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, contractor management and adherence to work health and safety standards.

Additionally, the role includes overseeing the development of the fleet renewal program and the ongoing management of the City’s vehicle fleet.

**About you**

You will have a natural leadership style about you, be an excellent communicator and skilled in fleet and waste management in a complex organisation. You need to be able to make the tough decisions and handle complex and time-critical tasks effectively.

You are a forward thinker with the ability to influence, engage, and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders and provide expert advice, guidance, education and recommendations to senior leadership in the areas of waste and fleet management services.

**Salary and Benefits**

A competitive remuneration package commencing at $179,000 per annum will be offered dependent on skills, knowledge, experience and qualifications.
