Our new future will deliver more peak services and invest in an environmentally friendly fleet with a hybrid-hydrogen ferry in service in the coming years with options for future electric ferries.

***Your opportunity**
***The Roster Manager is responsible for building and managing optimised rosters to support our business operation. The roster manager position plays a key financial management function ensuring that our operational resources are structured in a way that maximises productive whilst minimising our cost footprint.
- Coordinate the creation, editing and maintenance of all staff rosters within the Marine business taking individual worker contract hours as well as the implications of Enterprise Agreement clauses, skills mixes, hours worked and penalty rates into account
- Coordinate cover for all shifts and fill unforeseen shift vacancies due to sickness, annual leave or training requirements in partnership with the various Operations Managers
- Build and populate a (up to) 3 month forecasted Marine roster structure
- Work with the Operations Management team to ensure the needs of designated staff are met, including requirements for staff professional development and training
- Monitor and provide accurate information to Marine management and key stakeholders in relation to crew timesheets and hours
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports as or if required
- Interface with internal stakeholders on best practice rostering principles
- Ensure staff time and attendance performance data is effectively captured and reported to management
- Develop safe and efficient rosters that are within budgetary constraints and complaint with respective EA’s
**Requirements for Success**
- Experience, comprehensive knowledge and skills in rostering
- Experience with people and budget management
- Experience working in a highly regulated compliance environment
- Ability to work effectively within busy environment and meet deadlines

- Developed written and verbal communication skills
