Billing Specialist

The Role:
A Billing Specialist is a technical expert who supports the Billing Department and the wider business with technical expertise. They are responsible for representing billing in handling complex enquiries from the team and stakeholders and providing technical knowledge regarding the billing engine, processes and concessions.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Delivering Training to the wider Billing Department
- Managing the Occupier Process
- Perform User Acceptance testing
- Provide technical Knowledge and know the system more than the system its self
- Assisting as part of internal and external audits
About You:
You are a billing technical guru, with 2 - 3 years’ experience in a prior billing role (bonus points if you worked in Electricity and Gas). We are looking for a team player who knows when to collaborate with teams and stakeholders and someone who’s self-sufficient in managing their personal work load. You are highly skilled in communicating (both verbal and written) to the team and stakeholders and holds the customer focus in front of their mind.
Some experience points we are looking for is if you worked with either Orion or Engage Billing systems, strong analytical and attention to details skills, User Acceptance Testing, expert with various Microsoft office products and self-lead with time management and workloads.
Bonus brownie points if you understand electricity and gas concessions, Jira, Confluence, Salesforce and experience in training and process delivery.
