Entry-Level Role for Jewellery Lovers

**Your new company**
Our client is an SA family-owned jewellery company specialising in wedding and engagement rings. They pride themselves on their immaculate craftsmanship for their clients, and the level of training they provide for their employees. Due to an increased number of contracts and bespoke orders, they’re looking to expand their team with three jewellery fabricators

**Your new role**
This is a really exciting role for those who are don’t necessarily have experience in the jewellery industry; if you have a mechanical aptitude or like to know how things work, this could be the job for you. We’re looking for personality over skill - open to learning, happy to help team members, completely trust-worthy, great hand/eye coordination and really tight attention to detail. Everything else can be trained You’ll be responsible for producing wedding and engagement bands as well as custom designs for smaller clients. You’ll learn how to mould, cut, solder and buff precious metals, and eventually how to value them. Once you’ve learned the tricks of the trade, you’ll get your projects for the day, and you have free reign to work your day as it suits you.

- Openness to training and desire to learn
- Mechanical aptitude/interest in hobbies like model-making will put you in good stead.
