**THE OPPORTUNITY**

The School is seeking a full-time, permanent, Facilities and Maintenance Team Member to help the School’s

Facilities team maintain the grounds and buildings of our beautiful school.

This role will suit a fit, energetic individual who loves working outdoors and/or undertaking general gardening and yard maintenance duties and working as part of a busy, highly functioning team.

General experience and capability in general gardening and grounds keeping work, as well as an interest and/or experience in building maintenance and event set up, will be the key to your success in this role.

Flexibility of work roster is required from time to time due to cyclical nature of the School, special events and changing priorities.

Applicants must be the holder of a Working with Children Suitability Card (Blue Card). Blue Card Services have a 'No

Card, No Start' policy which means all employees must hold a current, valid paid employee Blue Card prior to commencing work.

To be successful in this role, you will be dependable, committed, and enthusiastic towards the role, along with
- the ability to maintain schedules, work orders, activity logs, and equipment histories.
- experience in supporting the cycle of daily tasks throughout the School including garden and building maintenance tasks.
- demonstrated ability to understand the work environment of a school, along with an awareness of the need for security in relation to buildings, grounds access, personal property and equipment.
- the ability to develop positive working relationships with team members while also having the capacity to work with limited supervision.
- eligibility to work in Australia and be the holder of a Blue Card.

**Salary**: $56,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
