Facilities Manager (Retail Shopping Centre)

Ipswich, Permanent, c$80,000 inc super

Reporting to the Centre Manager, under the stewardship of a highly experienced operations team, you will be the sites Facilities expert and have a high degree of autonomy. As part of a larger Facilities Management team you will have support, access to training, career development and be able to utilise excellent systems.

As the maintenance, security and safety custodian the role will draw upon your ability to drive the centres brand through appearance, keeping the environment safe, clean and building strong robust relationships with contractors, tenants, stakeholders and customers.

A snapshot of your responsibility includes:

- Maintain the Centre to a high level of cleanliness and maintenance
- Keep the Centre’s plant and equipment in good order and repair.
- Ensure all maintenance/ operations meet insurance, workplace health and safety requirements
- Good administrative office skills
- Maintenance, cleaning and security contractor coordination/management, sourcing quotes for work
- Ensure contractors are inducted correctly
- Manage the FM operations budget
- Monitor and maintain programs to reduce electricity, water and other service wastage

You will have a strong understanding of commercial facilities management compliance. Excellent administrative skills with the ability to keep on top of tasks autonomously; you will have a wealth of facilities management experience within a commercial asset. Experience working within Retail / Shopping Centre environment would be preferred but is not essential.
