Support Worker

Monday-Friday shifts only - no weekend work

As a Support Worker in this specialised program, you will be providing basic care to people under 65 years of age who aren't eligible for funding under the NDIS. However, have been provided with other funding for in-home support with day-to-day tasks to help them maintain or regain their independence at home.

These tasks may include: household chores, meal preparation, basic personal care, and helping to manage household paperwork etc. It may also include assisting people access the community for shopping, recreational activities, attend health appointments etc.

In this role you do not need to have any prior experience - you will be provided all the training and support you need. However you must be someone that is compassionate towards others, approaches this work with integrity, treats others with dignity, and empowers others to exercise there choices. If this sounds like you, it is a fabulous opportunity to pick up some extra work around school/study commitments or move out of industries where weekend work is required.

The casual rate of pay for this role sits at the SCHADS award level 2 rate of pay. On a casual basis this equates to $38.08 + 10.5% Super + Salary Sacrifice + any applicable shift allowances.
