**About CDK Stone and the role**

For over 35 years, CDK Stone have been providing total support to the stone industry. We are not only renowned for importing and selling high quality natural stone and a premium range of tools and equipment, but we install, service and maintain a wide range of industrial CNC stone processing machinery for customers across Australia.

Our reputation is not only due to the high-end machinery and quality service we provide, but also our ability to train, support and develop people from outside the industry. We are now looking for our next Field Service Technician to join our service department to:

- Develop your skills and knowledge across a broad range of machines and across a number of industry brands, including; GMM, Burkhardt and Thibaut to name a few
- Execute the installation process from pre-site inspection, overseeing the delivery of machines, assembling the machines through to training end users
- Conduct root cause analysis, fault-finding and diagnosing efficient solutions to machine breakdowns
- Act as a key point of contact for the customer, you will represent the brand and communicate with key stakeholders from production managers to stonemasons
- Perform regular routine maintenance checks throughout in the Greater Melbourne area.

**About You**

Whether you have worked across many types of industrial machinery, or specialised in one, you have been on the search for machinery that is a bit more interesting, complicated and sophisticated.

What defines you are your outstanding fault-finding skills. When equipment breaks down, you relish in the opportunity to showcase your careful, systematic approach and really delve down and find the root cause to any issue, no matter the type of machinery.

While you have thrived in an environment that allows you to get your hands dirty, you have never lost sight of what this machinery means for your customers. You understand that for them, these machines are the lifeblood of their business, and you are respectful, courteous, and work with haste in order to solve the customers problems.

**Selection Criteria**

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to be able to tick the list below;
- A Mechanical or Electrical trade qualification
- Current and unrestricted drivers licence
