**About the Role**
On opportunity has arisen to join an experienced Development Assessment Team with a primary focus on new release areas within the Wollondilly LGA. Reporting to the Team Leader Development Assessment, you will have the opportunity to assess an array of Development Applications.
With major growth centres being delivered in full flight, there is no better time to join the team
The successful applicants will be able to demonstrate their competency in the following essential criteria:
- Degree qualifications in Town Planning or related discipline.
- Working knowledge of the Environment Planning and Assessment Act 1979, NSW Planning Legislation and other Acts and Legislation relevant to the position.
- Class C Drivers Licence.

Preferred applicants will be required to undertake a pre-placement medical. This includes drug and alcohol screening. The preferred applicant may also be required to undertake Police Background, Credential and Bankruptcy Checks.
In accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023 all positions are engaged Monday to Sunday except as otherwise provided.
