**Purpose**

Medley Advisors, an EA Group business, is looking for an economic and monetary-policy analyst to cover Australia working from Sydney or Canberra. - Demonstratable experience in copywriting with the ability to boil down complexity into a forward-looking and tradeable “call”.
- Initiative, personality, and enthusiasm to develop a contact network.
- The confidence and knowledge to guide clients through policy arguments and political analysis and see their market relevance.

**Job Duties**
- Closely monitor developments in the Australian economy and markets.
- Establish a network of government, central bank, and market contacts.
- Write short, market-relevant position reports.
- Discuss these issues with a local and global institutional-investor clientele.
