**Minda Inc Cafe** is seeking enthusiastic and motivated team members to join us We have positions available for a Casual Kitchen Hand and a Casual Customer Service Superstar

This position is located at Brighton.

**COOK/KITCHEN HAND**:
Do you love working with fresh ingredients to make delicious, well-presented food? Do you enjoy starting and finishing work early? Then the Back of House role is for you To be successful you’ll have:

- A minimum of 6 months fast food or restaurant experience
- Experience using commercial grade knives
- Proven ability to follow detailed make-guides and recipes
- Strong work ethic and flexibility to work alone or as part of a small team
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Prepare food to Chef’s/Managers requirements
- Maintaining order and cleanliness of the kitchens and front of house up to required standards
- Inventory / stock control of supplies and food, ensuring that the kitchen has accurate stock and rotated accordingly
- Assist on the floor and during functions as required
- Be able to work a flexible roster
- Mentor, support and provide on the job training to supported employees

**Experience**:

- Must have previous experience in hospitality
- Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) certification and/or Safe Food Handling principles (desirable)
- Experience working within a commercial cafe environment both front and back of house
- Working knowledge of Work Health and Safety regulations
- Providing direct support and care to individuals with cognitive disability
- Quick thinking multitasker able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attentive and patient
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Ability to communicate well
- Ability to maintain personal and kitchen hygiene

**CUSTOMER SERVICE/BARISTA**:
Do you love making others smile? Are you outgoing and confident? Then this is the role is for you To be successful you’ll have:

- A minimum of 6 months fast food or restaurant experience
- An approachable demeanour and good communication skills
- Previous work experience as a Barista
- Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations
- Good attention to detail and cash handling skills
- An understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- A flexible approach to work - at Minda inc, customer service goes beyond serving customers You’ll also be able to help with stock take, opening / closing the store, cleaning and preparing basic food items

25 hours per week you will be required to be available to work between the hours of 6.00am and 3pm monday to friday.

**Other Requirements**:

- National NDIS Worker Screening- Covid-19 Booster Vaccination- Current, valid and unrestricted South Australian Driver’s Licence
