**Sales Development Representative**

Our easy-to-use construction management software helps builders quote, manage and deliver projects with confidence. We’re growing fast, and we’re looking for a motivated **Sales Development Representative (SDR)** to join our Melbourne team.

**What you’ll do**:

- Research, identify and qualify potential customers through multiple channels (referrals, online research, social media, industry events).
- Build initial relationships with builders and contractors, understand their needs and highlight how Buildxact can help.
- Qualify prospects and hand over warm leads to the Business Development team.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing and RevOps to optimise campaigns.
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and report regularly on pipeline activity.
- Conduct product demos and presentations to showcase Buildxact’s solutions.
- Share customer feedback and market insights to help shape our strategy.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Previous experience in sales development, lead generation, or inside sales (ideally SaaS or construction tech).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Resilient, persistent and self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
- Organised and proactive with excellent time-management skills.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or similar is a plus but not essential.
