About the Role

Join one of the most well known call centres in Wollongong where you will be responsible for handling queries on behalf of an Australian Government agency - My Aged Care. This is a rewarding position with work that directly contributes to the community and includes numerous upskilling opportunities. It is a fast paced environment for individuals that are ready to rise to the challenge of representing the government and meeting a high level of customer service standards.

**Key Details**:
Multiple permanent full-time and part-time positions available
Operating hours Monday to Friday 8am - 8pm | Saturday 10am - 4pm
Rotating roster generally released 2 weeks in advance
3 weeks full time paid training + 3 weeks access to additional support while you’re settling in
You will be required to complete a police check for this role
Easy access via public transport (free bus across the road) and walking distance to parking

**Key Responsibilities**:
Answer inbound calls from families and carers seeking information on Aged Care services available
Discuss options and advise which services can assist with independent living at home as well as short term and long term care options
Assess the potential need for a My Aged Care representative to visit a customer at home
Chat with our customers and make sure they have all the info they need and feel like they are being heard
Display a high level of empathy
