The Administrative Assistant to the Deputy Principal (Learning & Teaching) at Kolbe Catholic College plays a crucial role in providing service support and assistance in alignment with College policies and procedures. The position demands a high degree of confidentiality, requiring initiative and resourcefulness. This role involves supporting the efficient functioning of the Deputy Principal's office by making decisions in accordance with their specific wishes.

**Responsibilities and Specific Duties**:
- Provide administrative support to the Deputy Principal (Learning & Teaching).
- Offer administrative assistance to the Director of Pedagogy and Curriculum Leaders.
- Manage and maintain the Deputy Principal's diary/calendar.
- Prioritise issues requiring the immediate attention of the Deputy Principal.
- Assist in coordinating academic detentions and academic support processes.
- Support academic testing, including coordinating NAPLAN administration.
- Handle administrative tasks related to Semester Reporting processes.
- Manage College booklist administration.
- Assist in internal Examinations arrangements and preparation.
- Prepare correspondence and manage correspondence and publications.
- Conduct or prepare research for the Deputy Principal as required.
- Develop presentations and other printed material as needed.
- Prepare and distribute agendas and act as Minute Secretary for selected team meetings.
- Support the Deputy Principal with arrangements for the Learning and Teaching Program and Curriculum-related matters.
- Administer and manage resources for Learning and Teaching college events.
- Manage administration requirements for curriculum and storage.
- Administer requirements for Assessment and Reporting calendars.
- Maintain the highest professional standards in presenting an appropriate image of the Deputy Principals' offices.
**Other Duties**:
- Cover Reception and Student Services in case of absence.
- Perform other duties as required by the Principal, Deputy Principal(s), and Business Manager.
- Attend non-teaching staff meetings and team meetings as required.
**Position Classification**:
Education Support Officer - Category C, Level 2
Key Criteria:
- A current National Criminal Records Check.
- A current Working with Children Check Card.
- A current Level 2 First Aid Certificate is desirable.
- Effective planning and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing demands.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Professional telephone and customer service etiquette.
- High levels of literacy, numeracy, and information technology skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Commitment to the value and ethos of Catholic education.
- Generosity of spirit, optimism, adaptability, and enthusiasm.
