**YMCA Springfield Central Community Centre and Sports Hall**, are seeking a dedicated and dynamic **Ipswich Thriving Program Officer** to join their team on a **Permanent Part-Time **basis, based at their Springfield Central Communtiy Centre**.**

**About the role**

As a Ipswich Thriving Program Officer this position will develop, plan, deliver and evaluate senior’s programs that support the building of age-friendly communities and aims to minimise the impacts of social isolation and loneliness through the provision of various activities, information, referral and other supports that are flexible, person-centred, and locally based in Ipswich region.

**What will my time look like?**
- Developing and delivering programs that support the building of age friendly communities
- Improve connection to family and community for the seniors
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, collecting feedback for continuous improvement
- Create and execute social media campaigns to promote programs, events, and initiatives.
- Recruiting and supervision of the volunteers
- Support and maintain administrative duties

**Am I a good match?**
- High Level of communication skills
- Experience in Program development skills
- Demonstrated ability to enter data accurately and completely into systems and files
- Willingness and available to work flexible hours as determined by business requirements
- First Aid and CPR qualification or willingness to obtain
- Current Open Queensland Driver’s Licence.
