YMCA Community Centres provide a safe and welcoming space for people to connect, have fun and receive support.

**YMCA Springfield Lakes Community Centre** are currently recruiting a **Program Officer** to join their friendly and collaborative team on a **permanent part time** basis.

**Flexible roster** arrangements of 26 hours per week from Monday to Friday. **Pay rate** will range from: $39.26 to $42.25 ph.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The role of a **Program Officer** is to develop, plan, deliver and evaluate children’s and community programs for the YMCA Springfield Lakes Community Centre. As the Program Officer, you will ensure that programs are structured, interactive, educational, supportive and inclusive.

Additional responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited too):

- Developing and delivering programs such as: Playgroup, School Holiday Programs, Mums and Bubs, Celebration Day/Week Events, and assisting with our Social Interest Groups.
- Managing posts on our social media platforms
- Writing grants and working within grant budget and constraints
- Recruiting and supervising our volunteers
- Associated program administration duties

**ABOUT YOU**
- Demonstrated experience developing and delivering programs
- Willingness to work school holidays and occasional weekends
- Experience in effectively managing conflict and complaints
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated computer literacy skills
- (P) Blue Card - or willingness to obtain
- National Police Check - or willingness to obtain
- Desirable:_
- Tertiary qualifications in the Community sector or relevant
