**About the role**

We are looking for an Assistant Cellar Manager to work within our CBD Precinct. This is an amazing opportunity for anyone wanting to move out of a service role and into a BOH support role. Very lifestyle focused with only daytime hours. Experience in a cellar role and with stock control is essential. Your day-to-day tasks will include ordering, delivery acceptance, invoice approvals and stores maintenance. Having knowledge of Bepoz and Lightyear is a bonus

**Requirements**:

- Assist with inventory control, including regular stocktakes and reporting discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage conditions for all beverages, maintaining quality and compliance standards.
- Manage stock rotation and reduce wastage.
- Coordinate deliveries and organise storage areas for accessibility and efficiency.
- Ensure all cellar equipment is well-maintained and in good working order.
- Support the service team by preparing orders and ensuring timely delivery to bars and service areas.
- Work closely with the team to ensure guests receive outstanding service.
- Adhere to health, safety, and RSA regulations.
- Maintain accurate records for compliance and auditing purposes.
- Assist service team with any physical lifting of furniture required for service set up.

- Passion for wine and beverages, with a solid understanding of cellar operations.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- A collaborative approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive mindset, with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving stock safely.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Previous experience in a similar role within hospitality
- Sound knowledge of wine, spirits, and beverage management.
- RSA certification (or willingness to obtain).

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
