
Service Experience Specialist

Exciting opportunity to support our teams in Child and Family services to embed service excellence, therapeutic practice, and team-based ways of working focused on consistent best practice and positive outcomes for children, young people and their families.
**About the Role**
- Support teams to embed team-based ways working and promoting the adoption of relevant practice frameworks, therapeutic practices and consistency measures;
- Upskill teams in Service Delivery to relevant requirements to support the children and young people in our care;
- Develop and embed service and practice models;
- Develop and embed new policy and processes arising from assurance activities;
- Support Assurance teams to assist Service Delivery Teams to meet their assurance requirements;
- Support connection, collaboration, and communication across the organisation;
- Project manage service, team and relationship establishment for Child and Family;
- Lead and facilitate collaborative working partnerships internal and external;
- Proactively identify and respond to critical incident trends and complex support needs of children and young people or services ;
**About You**
- A relevant degree or accreditation based on competency and experience (post-graduate desirable). As a minimum this role requires qualifications in relevant Discipline at a Diploma level
- Knowledge of service delivery models and contemporary regulatory reform in Child and Family Services
- Management experience in leading Child and Family service delivery
- Experience in establishing and delivering relevant programs including facility establishment, master roster development and recruitment
- Previous relationships with government agencies, peak bodies and sector suppliers
- Leadership and management experience including staff supervision, staff performance management, budget development and financial management skills
- Expert facilitation and communication skills
- Sound knowledge and experience in business systems: RiskMan and CareLink
- Demonstrated ability to perform business related activities and experience in developing teams through coaching, mentoring, goal setting and project management
- Experience in convening groups to produce outcomes
- Experience collaborating internally to develop new systems and responses to challenges identified by Service Delivery teams
- Experience in delivery therapeutic based care models
- Knowledge of processes for maintaining standards of practice as it relates to medication, health support and positive behaviours support and restrictive practice.
