**THE ROLE**

An exciting and new opportunity to join the Brisbane base Brisbane Central Control Room team is now available. As the Panel Operator, you will be responsible for all control and monitoring duties, this role will ensure all equipment within their assigned position is operated in a safe and reliable condition and in accordance with all relevant operating procedures and safe operating envelopes. This role is responsible for meeting all production targets, nominations and response to unplanned events, notification, escalation and management of production and emergency situations.

**MORE ABOUT THE ROLE**
- Safe operation of all facilities of an allocated area of the Integrated Gas Upstream Operations
- Respond appropriately to alarms, rectification of alarmed situation, escalate / initiate and coordinate site operator response as necessary
- Adjusting operating setpoints and optimise assets as necessary to deliver /produce daily gas nominations as per the production plan
- Manage transfer of control between Control room and field locations via transfer protocols
- Manage maintenance / start-up override via process safety override procedures
- Conduct remote start-up / shutdown / optimisation of assets as required
- Monitor well operation and performance

**MORE ABOUT YOU**
- 5+ years experience in control room or remote operations
- Experience in oil and gas production operations
- Extensive experience SCADA/DCS Operations, Permit to Work, and HSE Procedures and compliance
- Strong problem solving skills to enable resolution of administrative, operational or maintenance issues
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment as well as being able to work independently
