Who we are:
Pennine Community Supports is a family run service providing care and assistance within the community. We support a range of activities so our clients can continue to live independently in their homes and be active members within their community.

We are growing and looking for support workers who have recent experience working with people with challenging behaviours. You are compassionate, motivated and caring, but also understand how to effectively manage complex behaviours and situations and use initiative to either resolve or escalate issues as they arise.

Not only will you support their day-to-day activities (taking them to medical appointments, shopping, the park, lunch, see friends etc) you will be pivotal in ensuring they are living their life to maximum potential. These roles are critical to our client’s mental and health wellbeing, and you will be part of something special. It's not every day you can say you made someone's day.

About You:

- Ability to build professional and therapeutic relationships
- Passionate about people and their wellbeing
- Minimum Certificate III in Disability Care
- Will require knowledge and experience in working with clients with challenging behaviours and how to manage them
- Compliance with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Code of Conduct
- As per NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission double vaccination is a requirement
- NDIS Worker Screening Check through Services NSW (if not, willing to obtain one)
- Current First Aid (if not, willing to obtain one)
- Current Drivers Licence
- Registered and insured vehicle (desirable)

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $26.00 - $39.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Flexible hours
- Morning shift
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
