This business has their Australian head office & showroom located in the inner suburbs close to the CBD and has been operating in Australia for over 10 years. They represent a number of architecturally-designed light fittings and custom fixtures and is known for their high-end brands that are generally the first choice for architects & designers.

They are a 100% specification business focused on project sales within architectural & decorative lighting and have earned a reputation in the A&D Industry with their high quality and innovative designs.

**POSITION**

The Operations Manager has overall responsibility for all supply, logistics and production operations nationally including but notlimited to:

- Management representative for supply, logistics and production activities for the company, ensuring continual compliance with the code of GMP and all other relevant regulations, standards, and policies as appropriate.
- Management of the production, and supply and logistics arms of the business, ensuring adequate resources and support for compliant manufacturing activities.
- Effectively manages team resources to achieve maximum output while measuring successes and limitations.
- Resolving or troubleshooting issues impacting operational efficiencies, compliance or product quality and safety.
- Developing external relationships including customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
- Keeping abreast of emerging trends, markets and up to date relevant local information to strengthen the position of the business against competitor activity.
- Managing regulatory audits (i.e. ODC, TGA).
- Ensuring quality system requirements are effectively established and maintained in accordance with all regulations

**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**

To be considered for this position it is vital that you have the below experience:

- Proven track record in management experience and building large teams from an Operations Manager role
- This has to be from a background relevant to the business such as; Lighting, Electrical, Electronics, Security, IT Hardware, Audio-Visual, etc
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise, delegate and organise the workflow of self and others to effectively achieve business priorities and goals
- Identify problems, investigate causes, and solve them effectively
