**Full Job Description**:
Our client is a leading international not-for-profit industry association. Due to internal promotion, we are seeking a contract specialist to join this friendly, collaborative team.

Based in North Sydney with flexible working, this is an excellent opportunity for a business partner role within a thriving international firm.

You must be able to work 5 days a week core hours, with at least two days spent in the office.

**The Role**:
Work in a multi-disciplinary legal team to assist the association to provide services to its members.

You will have a good understanding of contract law and be able to mentor and support other team members, under the guidance of the General Counsel and Contracts Manager.
- Assisting the team with the day-to-day management of contracts including the recording and checking information.
- Reviewing clauses in commercial contracts
- Ability to manage multiple activities and priorities both planned and unplanned whilst maintaining a
- Assisting with drafting of correspondence and documents
- Undertaking legal and other required research
- Coordinating record requests and related enquiries
- Cross-checking details and compliance

**Your Background**
- Currently studying law - second or third year ideally
- Extreme eye for detail
- Ability to learn quickly
- Take responsibility
- Ability to work full time office hours
- Experience using SAP (or another commercial Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system or contract
- manager system), CRM, SharePoint and ticketing systems.
- Understanding of corporations law, commercial law, intellectual property, privacy, competition and
- consumer law, animal law, marketing and advertising law, food law and mediation.
