Ndis Plan Manager

**Role Description**

Ethika assists NDIS clients by providing services related to the use of NDIS funding as well as assisting to make payments to their service providers.

**Job Tasks and Responsibilities**

The primary roles of the plan manager are to process invoice payments on the participant’s behalf, manage the administrative tasks associated with the NDIS plan funding and to help maximise the participant’s NDIS plan funding.

A plan manager is responsible for:

- Invoice receiving, compliance review and timely payment
- Claim funds from the NDIS Portal
- Issuance of monthly statements, detailing spend summary and funding balance per support category
- Establish service agreements with providers
- Work with participant to explore different budgeting options or scenarios
- Build your capacity for self-management and financial understanding
- Help the participant collect data for your plan review
- Help utilise the plan as it was intended for the participant and to maximise benefit from the plan

**Essential Skills & Experience**
- Accountant or Book Keeper with membership with a relevant accounting or bookkeeping body, for example: CAANZ, CPA, IPA, ICB, ABAL, ACCA, CBK, ATMA or AAT.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong numeracy and MS office skills
- Ability to prioritise
- Taking ownership of responsibilities
