**About the Role**

The role provides support to the in relation to quality processes to inform improvement including the effective delivery, development, and evaluation of the GH Governance Framework.

The GH Governance and Improvement Quality Affilite works with team members in the workgroup, to support and promote the provision of quality health care that meets the expected standards of safety and quality across all areas of GH. The position will support GH in living a culture of using evidence-based practice to inform sustainability, and good governance, enabling an ‘always safe’ culture.

The GH Governance and Improvement Lead provides leadership in relation to quality processes to inform improvement. The role will provide expert guidance in systems thinking, operational excellence, change management, sustainability, data and analytics, governance, and quality.

The GH Governance and Improvement Lead works closely with the Director and Assistant Director to develop and implement systems and processes for safe, effective person-centered connected care.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Actively promote and support clincial areas with the use of the GH audit schedule
- Complete audits as per the audit schedule
- Work with clinical areas to support Quality Activivtes relating to audit results, RiskMan Q entry and support.
- Be familiar with the GH auditing platform and able to collate and analyze data, providing infographic reports
- Provide education and support for GH staff to effectively use the electronic tools.
- Provide high-quality data sets to operational, governance and Board committees to advise and inform about GH quality and safety performance
- Develop and maintain contemporary, evidence-based governance documentation such as policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with GH staff & consumers to ensure systems and processes are in place, which are consistent with best practice, strategic directions, and governance frameworks

**Skills & Experience**:

- Qualification as a Registered Professional is essential
- AHPRA registration essential
- Relevant post-graduate qualifications in Quality and Practice Improvement or working towards are preferred
- Proven experience in developing governance frameworks to improve efficiency and practice
- Experience in co-design and partnership
