We have new clients on board that have a few projects on the go. We are looking for Project Schedulers to join our team on long fixed term contracts.
As a Project Scheduler, you will be responsible for creating project schedules, tracking progress, and managing resources to ensure successful project completion. You will work closely with project managers, team members, and stakeholders to develop schedules that meet project requirements and deadlines.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Creating project schedules using project management software
- Identifying critical paths and potential roadblocks in project schedules
- Communicating with team members and stakeholders to ensure project deadlines are met
- Tracking project progress and updating schedules as needed
- Managing project resources and ensuring they are allocated effectively
- Developing contingency plans to mitigate project risks
- Providing regular project status reports to project managers and stakeholders
- Experience in project scheduling, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies
- Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach
- Ideally you will have NV1 Clearance
