Peoplebank are recruiting for a profitable and growing Software (SaaS) company, based in Adelaide, to find their next **Technical Support Consultant (Software Applications focussed).**

Working in a small team, your role will be varied, exciting and with a broad range of responsibilities. But at the core of it, your role with be customer facing, and therefore an absolute passion for providing customer excellence must be at the heart of everything you do.

Indeed, the role requires a passion for technology, problem solving, exceptional customer service, and excellent written and verbal communication.

This is **NOT an entry level role, or an IT Helpdesk role**, rather you will be responsible for:

- ** Offering technical assistance** on the delivery, configuration, set up, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our clients Software and identify where the problem resides in user computer system, hardware, and/or Software.
- ** QA - testing** of new product features and functions.
- Writing release notes and functional documents
- Training of Users from time to time, gaining feedback from Customers to improve support and training methods.
- ** Writing and editing support documentation** and training manuals.
- Running reports and analyzing common complaints and problems.
- ** Working with the Software Developers to Identify hardware and software solution improvements**:

- Providing support in the form of procedural documentation.

**Skills and Experience.**
- 3+ years of prior commercial work experience, in a Technical Applications / Software Support role.
- A strong working knowledge of computer systems, network, hardware, and software.
- Proficiency in Windows/Linux/MacOS or an understanding of these technologies
- Good problem-solving, analytical, and team-working skills.
- Excellent communication written and verbal and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for technology and innovation with a proactive curiosity for learning new technologies.
- Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
