The Melbourne Museums and The Fresh Collective Melbourne is seeking casual Kitchen Stewards and Sandwich Hands to join our team.

**About The Role**

The Kitchen Steward and Sandwich Hand is responsible to perform basic kitchen duties as requested by the Chief Steward or Head Chef, including:

- General washing up
- Cleaning of kitchen equipment
- Cleaning of kitchen surrounds
- Deep cleaning
- Assisting with food prep and assembling food orders
- Excellent career development opportunities within a growing hospitality company
- This position is a casual role, with ongoing shifts

**About You**
- Prior experience in a kitchen environment with knowledge of food hygiene
- A responsible person who shows initiative
- An eye for detail
- Hard working, physically fit and reliable - able to lift 10-15kgs comfortably
- Good communication skills
- Valid Working With Children Check
- Valid full time working rights in Australia - student visas accepted
