Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborating closely with clients, builders, plumber, electricians, cnc operators and stakeholders to understand specific requirements for furniture design in caravans, considering factors such as size, functionality, style preferences, and budget constraints.
- Using Autocad to the develop components and assemblies as necessary in the continuous development of new caravans
- Conducting in-depth research on materials and manufacturing processes relevant to caravan furniture production, considering factors like durability, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Developing innovative design concepts for furniture pieces that align with functional needs, commercial viability, and cultural preferences of caravans using autocad and enroute.
- Translating concepts into precise technical drawings for crucial Caravan manufacturing furniture lines, enhancing production efficiency and reducing delivery times then ensuring accurate representations for manufacturing.
- Demonstrating adaptability in various caravan manufacturing techniques, including timber, carcass, steel, plastics, and alloys, for versatile design approaches.
- Overseeing the preparation and commissioning of prototypes and samples to test the practicality and aesthetics of the caravan furniture design. Making necessary adjustments based on the outcomes of these prototypes before full-scale production.
Selection Criteria:
- Certificate III or equivalent relevant qualifications
- Must have at least 2 years of relevant industry work experience
- Excellent writing and speaking skills
- Ability to work with a team and time management skills
**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
