We are seeking a Lead Rosters Performance Planning & Forecasting to provide strategic delivery for our Operational Logistics Department.
This is a Full Time, Permanent position. While WFH/Hybrid options are available, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at Burwood in line with our hybrid working model.
**About the role**
Reporting to the Senior Manager Operational Resourcing, responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to:
- Lead the investigation and analysis activities for comprehensive forecasting, roster scheduling and resource modelling to ensure objectives are achieved
- Develop demand forecasts based on roster schedules, leave projections and recruitment impacts and be responsible for assessing the operational resourcing impact
- Develop and implement processes and controls that facilitate economical and safe provision of resourcing services and ensure that AV's optimises its commitment to resources to the community
- Undertake high level analysis and develop operational strategies to ensure efficient utilisation of resources, identifying opportunities to improve the results
- Review and analyse data to modify forecasting when required, ensuring AV can meet its demand obligations without compromising staff safety and financial constraints
**About you**
To be considered for this position you will possess a post graduate degree (or progress toward) with high level relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and sound experience. Other requirements include:
- Demonstrated experience in a Demand Planning Management role or similar equivalent
- Demonstrated initiative and the ability to recognise problems and develop solutions whilst working collaboratively with others
- High quality analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to develop complex analyses and models
- Planning, organising and time management skills to effectively establish the priority and scheduling of work tasks to ensure work priorities are completed on time and within budget
- Leadership skills to ensure objectives are achieved, through managing, developing and guiding others to achieve objectives, including the ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities
