Our client is a contemporary organisation with a mission to deliver innovative care experiences. The organisation is people focussed, compassionate and rapidly growing. The co-founders who are still active in the business have created a wonderful, positive culture that has resulted in very low staff turnover. Due to ongoing and rapid growth, they require a Finance Officer to assist with a range of accounting, reporting and budgeting tasks. This is the most senior in-house finance role and will work closely with the external accountants

**About the Role**

Working in small team requires you to complete the following tasks:

- Daily processing of transactions to ensure accounts and ledgers are current and other bookkeeping tasks.
- Management of the NDIS claims process.
- Preparing draft monthly financial reports.
- Invoice preparation and running fortnightly payroll.
- Cashflow and working capital management including AR and AP.
- Improve quality of financial reports working with COO and external accountants.

**About you**
The successful applicant will have at least 5 years’ practical experience in AP and AR, bank reconciliations & other transactional bookkeeping tasks. Your advanced computer literacy with Xero and Microsoft office, excellent data entry skills and drive to improve systems and processes will help you succeed. You must be organised, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and have good communication and problem-solving skills.

This role is offered over 5 days full time or can be structured to a more flexible work arrangements to suit the successful applicant whilst ensuring the work is completed in a timely manner.
