**The Client**:
Our client is a mining systems company that specialises in providing integrated solutions for the mining sector to enhance productivity, efficiency, and safety. They have a suite of solutions that encompass various technologies, including fleet management, asset health monitoring, data analytics, and more.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide support to customers and partners in conducting Proof of Value for Mine remote conditions monitoring of their equipment.
- Remotely access data to analyse and create periodic reports on key maintenance conditions and recommendations.
- Assist in defining the solution and help dealers and customers extend the life of their equipment by anticipating parts and service ordering.
- Work with product management and R&D to create asset health dashboards.
- Identify top priority sensors and components to monitor for equipment longevity and create virtual sensors and alarms for predictive conditions monitoring.

**Specific responsibilities may include**:

- Collaborate with engineers to identify and create priority dashboards, virtual sensors, and alarms for different equipment types.
- Analyse and report on customer data as part of the Conditions Monitoring service.
- Analyse conditions through remote access of customer equipment
- Assist customers and/or service provider partners in creating periodic analysis reports using reporting tool.
- Create additional virtual sensors/alarms based on findings to enhance the solution's monitoring capabilities.
- Modify reports and templates to improve solution reporting capabilities.
- Travel to customer and partner locations worldwide on a periodic basis.

**Key Deliverables**:

- Analyse equipment sensor events from customers and provide assistance in creating reports and dashboards.
- Define and create virtual sensors and alarms for monitoring high-value asset health conditions across various Hitachi equipment and related components.

**Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required**:
**Experience**:

- 5+ years of relevant experience as a maintenance/reliability engineer and asset health specialist, preferably in a top-tier mining customer environment.
- Experience in asset health conditions monitoring and analytics is essential.
- Experience with remote operations monitoring is advantageous.
- Experience in team management and staff mentoring is a plus.
- Familiarity with IT systems, software programming, and database systems is beneficial.

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Extensive exposure to maintenance department processes and practices, including maintenance planning, resource allocation, integration with operations, and setting KPIs.
- Understanding of mining operations, particularly in the maintenance domain, as well as IT systems.
- Proficiency in reporting tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Excellent listening and consultative communication skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

**Education Required**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Computer, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field is preferred.
- Acceptable alternative fields include Mining, Geology, IT Systems, or Mathematics.
- Primary/major studies in computer programming, SQL, common query languages, or data analytics are advantageous.
